Served as interim Biotech Communications VP for Fresenius Hemotechnolgy. Reviewed market research and clinical trial data to establish market feasibility for product positioning and longer-term business plans. Wrote all medical content for company’s first web site (www.freseniusht.com). Reviewed biotech market conditions to establish disease application trends for new product development. Key contributor to practiceID a web based medical communications start-up dot.com. Identified market trend for the growing demand for cosmetic medical procedures. Conducted primary and secondary research to formulate business plan and prepare financial road show. (www.drkwolek.com) Led swat team effort to rapidly develop marketing communications materials for HELIX SYSTEMS' first product introduction, state-of-the-art software for laboratory data management, at the American Chemical Society Conference. The product uses bio-informatics in software to handle work group communications for scientific information, life science, and pharmaceutical and chemical research groups. After conducting marketing research, on bioinformatics, developed a pre-emptive marketing communications program for AXOLOTL, a high technology-based service company. This innovative collaborative clinical information system links independent health care organizations and medical insurance companies. The underlying Internet and messaging technologies especially challenged product communications.
